Description

In the midst of life’s challenges, we can offer the healing balm of loving kindness (mettā in Pali) to ourselves and others through cultivating a courageous heart – one that is open to all beings, tender and compassionate.

Our weekend retreat will focus on cultivating this quality of mettā, weaving together teachings on loving kindness with qigong, aligning body, breath, and movement with a loving and open heart. Using guided practices to bring mindfulness of body, heart and mind to both movement and stillness, we will explore how to meet the challenges of life with more equanimity, open-heartedness and compassion, and to work skillfully with obstacles that get in our way. Beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome.

Registration Process
Retreat registration is a two-part process. First, please submit the general information requested on this application. Then, once you complete this application, your confirmation email will include a link to a Confidential Health Questionnaire (CHQ).
